Singing lessons in Amsterdam
In the Ease Vocal Club choir and vocal lessons we value relaxation, making connections and joy. Here everyone can get to know their instrument better in their own way. Our lessons are both for children and adults and beginners and advanced singers.
In our private singing lessons, all the time and attention is focused on your personal journey. In a lesson of 30 or 45 minutes, the focus is on what you want to learn. For example, we can work on a better (breathing) technique or how to make existing songs your own.

Singing in a choir
Our choirs sing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at several locations in Amsterdam. In a choir lesson you work on singing in harmony, technique, group sound and singing together. For the choir there is no trial lesson possible.
Twice a year, our choirs give a concert and show the music that we've worked on in the lessons.

FAQ about singing lessons
Private and duo singing lessons
At Ease Vocal Club, we work with periods. The school year is divided into 3 periods, and you can join at any time. Within the period, you schedule a singing lesson weekly or every other week. The date and time can be planned with your teacher. You don't have to start at the beginning of a period, you can start with your lessons anytime.

Choirs
You can join a choir to start singing, at the beginning of the choir series.
Yes, through our contact form you can book a trial lesson without further commitment with a teacher or location of your choice.
A private trial lesson costs €32,-
A duo trial lesson costs €20,- per person (€40,- in total)
A trio trial lesson costs €15,- per person (€45,- in total)
For the choirs there is no trial lesson.
For many people, singing is exciting and very personal. Our teachers are committed to create a safe space for you, so you can explore and develop your voice freely.
Singing can be a redeeming factor and a nice way to express your feelings, during the lesson there is plenty of time and attention for your personal journey.
Participating in one of the vocal afternoons and evenings is certainly not mandatory. Twice a year, we organize a performance for all students who enjoy performing their new repertoire or their own music to friends and family. If you'd like to sing along or come and watch a performance, you are very welcome, but only if you want to and if you feel ready for it.
Yes! Every level is welcome: from a beginner singing in the shower to an ambitious singer-songwriter.
When booking your lessons, you agree with your teacher or Ease Vocal Club on how many lessons you will take in the current period: weekly or every other week. You will then receive an invoice for these lessons, to be paid before your first lesson starts. Upon request, it is possible to pay your lessons in installments (the minimum per invoice is 5 lessons).

No. You agree on a number of lessons per period, which lasts 10 or 15 weeks. After that, you can always stop or change the amount of lessons. You can discuss this with your teacher.
You can cancel and reschedule a singing lesson up to 24 hours in advance, provided the teacher has an opportunity to do so. This is possible up to two times per period. The right to make up the lesson expires one month after the canceled lesson.
If you cancel a singing lesson within 24 hours in advance, it will expire, also if you are sick.
A choir lesson can not be rescheduled.

You and your teacher can agree on a good time for your singing lessons. After payment of the invoice, your first singing lesson can take place.
We would then like to schedule a private trial lesson with you to get to know you and get an idea of what you like to sing and what your level is. After this, we can see if we have a good match for you for a duo or trio singing lesson.
When planning the trial lesson, we discuss what the best location is for you. Once the day and time of the trial lesson has been confirmed with your teacher, we will communicate the exact address to you. Many of our teachers teach from their own (home) studio.
