Our lessons are of a high quality and are given by conservatory-trained teachers with extensive experience in the music industry as independent artists, songwriters and backing vocalists. They are committed to creating a safe environment for you, so that you can freely explore and develop your voice.

Marietta
Location Oost and IJburg
Marietta believes that singing is more than just hitting the right notes; it's about telling a story. She helps you find your unique voice, build strong technique, and perform confidently. Beginners and advanced singers alike discover their musical identity with her.

Claudia
Location Oost
Claudia believes it's important for students to grow at their own pace and take steps towards their personal goals such as good technique, songwriting, and performance. Claudia herself writes and produces music for K-pop, mixes tracks for artists, and also enjoys writing her own music. In her free time, she loves listening to pop, R&B, and neoclassical music.

Divakar
Location Oost (Zeeburgereiland)
Divakar believes that to sing is to express. As a teacher he identifies and encourages a student to find their voice and give it life. Technique, confidence, vision and stage presence are all important factors for this and that is what he focuses on in his lessons. Divakar has been part of many projects that covered varying genres from Rock to RnB to Jazz.

Sarah
Location Centrum
For Sarah, singing is a way to connect with our bodies, and from there, to find comfortable and free expression. To achieve this, in her lessons, she focuses not only on good technique but also on improvisation, and she invites her students to discover their musicality in an intuitive and playful way. Sarah also teaches the choirs on Monday in Q-Factory.

Kristina
Location Noord (NDSM)
Kristina creates a pleasant and engaging learning environment where making music is central. She inspires students of all levels to develop their musical skills, improvise, and, most importantly, enjoy singing. As an experienced jazz singer and composer, she shares her passion and knowledge, making each lesson a journey of discovery.

Els
Locatie de Pijp
In Els her lessons she aims for singing by heart, which means: singing from your body. Music is emotion and singing is the ultimate way of expressing your feelings. She helps you to find out what singing freely means to you. Els writes her own music, inspired by Nilüfer Yanya and Thomas Azier.

Suzanne
Location Oud-West
In her lessons Suzanne works on singing freely and easily through a healthy vocal technique. Singing from the lyrics and discovering your own sound are paramount. Suzanne sings and performs in several groups in varying styles such als 'Nederlandse kleinkunst', jazz, soul and R&B.

Laura
Location Noord, Oost
In Laura's vocal lessons she focuses on using the body as resonance box. Interpretation of the song and making it your own is important in her classes, and if you like to work on accompanying yourself on the piano Laura can help you out! Laura herself loves and sings Jazz music from 1910 till 1960.

June

In her singing lessons June focusses on self esteem and making a song your own. She loves to listen to R&B, soul and pop music. She performs (among others) with Benny Sings and works on her debut EP. June teaches the choirs in Tugela85 on Wednesday.

Minka

Location Centrum (full)
In the singing lessons, Minka works on a strong singing technique, interpretation of the song and having fun. Minka releases indie/soul/pop music under her artist name Lumi. She sings and listens to 70's pop, jazz and soul music. Minka teaches he choirs on Monday in Tugela85.
